The Bible tells us that the Gospel is the power of God for salvation. This means that the Gospel is the power of God for both our justification as well as our sanctification - not just for the forgiveness of our sins, but also the power to grow in the righteousness Christ has given us. How does this work?

In Colossians 1, Paul prays for believers to lean in to what God has given them and done for them, and lays out a pattern by which God will grow His people through the Gospel.
